<p>It is claimed that in this phase dieters can lose 4-6 kilograms over the first 2 weeks. Phase 2 reintroduces some carbs &#8220;banned&#8221; in phase 1. Phase 3 is maintenance for life diet.</p>
<h3>The Zone Diet.</h3>

<p>On The Grapefruit Diet you must keep strictly to 3 meals a day with no snacks whatsoever (you are urged to eat double portions if you need to avoid hunger between breakfast, lunch or dinner!)</p>
<p>You are instructed to eat 1/2 a grapefruit at the beginning of every one of your meals and then you will lose fat &#8211; or not.</p>
<h3>The Cabbage Soup Diet.</h3>
<p>The Cabbage Soup Diet is one for people with no close friends sharing a personal space for any length of time.</p>
<p>It is a 7day &#8220;kick start&#8221; (kick fart?)diet in which the hapless dieter is given a different food group or two to stuff their faces with on a different day of the week, washed down with cabbage soup.</p>
